The Isla Cristina Town Council joined the October 12 celebration of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the Guardia Civil, with a Eucharist, the raising of the flag and the awarding of decorations to officers from the Isla Cristina barracks.

Isla Cristina celebrates the 39th edition of the Atlantic Choral Festival on October 16, 17 and 18, which brings back the Templo de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores as its venue and gathers seven groups from Spain and Portugal.
